Meeting Times: Last Sunday of the month 13:45 - 16:00

Join us for this worthwhile cause and help keep Eynsham free of litter. We meet up beforehand to collect equipment and return for tea and biscuits around 15:30.

We have a regular group of around 10-14 loyal pickers each month. We'd still love new people to join us - under 14s are welcome but need to be accompanied by an adult. No need to come every time - just try it once, it will make you very aware of the huge problem of litter spoiling our lovely country.

If you prefer, as some villages already do, just look outside your house and pick up any bits of litter - or take a small bag and old glove with you when you go out for a walk. As they say, every little helps.

We try to keep Eynsham and the approach roads litter free but we can only do what we can with a small group. Please report on rubbish areas so we can add them to our list.

UPDATE 31/03/2015: Eileen Mace has been organising Eynsham Litter pickers for the past 8 years, initially with the support of Jean and Richard Andrews, but more recently on her own. She is now stepping down but deserves our utmost praise and thanks for her dedication and community service. However, litter picking continues - with support from the Rotary Club of Eynsham - and we shall now be meeting regularly on the last Sunday of the month.
