Eynsham Parish Council represents the interests of the people of Eynsham and Barnard Gate to other public authorities, and is consulted on things like planning, public transport, road improvements, mineral policy, tourism and crime prevention. We also handle....

At present, we are actively involved in:

• the various developments planned for our area (A40 expansion; Salt Cross Garden Village; West Eynsham Strategic Development Area)
• exploring options for a 20mph zone and neighbourhood speed reduction
• updating the Neighbourhood Plan
• monitoring the local footpath network
• refurbishing the Sports Pavilion
• creating a Strategic Plan for 2022-23

We're able to have up to 15 Councillors on the Parish Council and currently have a number of vacancies. Would you consider joining us? It's a voluntary position but can be very rewarding, especially if you're passionate about the issues affecting our lives in Eynsham and want to make a difference.
