Eynsham War Memorial, funded by public subscription, stands in the Market Square next to to St Leonard's Church. It was unveiled and dedicated in April 1921 and tended since then by the Royal British Legion.

Inscription reads:

Armistice Day 2008. The war memorial is washed down and the area around it is tidied every November but the corner is in deep shade and members of the British Legion find it increasingly hard to cope.
With the approval of Phil Whittaker from the RBL, Eynsham Garden Club members Leslie Gerrans, Sandra and Simon Harbour, Mike Northcott, Graham Williams and Pat Woodman took advantage of the sunshine this morning to clear a truckload of overgrown vegetation and roots from the beds, letting in some much needed light and air.

Local specialists Banbury Memorials sent a team of 4 men and took 3 days to clean the monument carefully from top to bottom. Thanks to Derek Webb, Keith Palmer, Jeff Paterson and Jaimie Aston.
