Helping tradespeople avoid theft 2 Mar 2026 Free sessions from Police & Crime Commissioner

The Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley has organised a series of free sessions to help tradespeople increase their security and protect their tools from theft.
The sessions are scheduled at different locations across the Thames Valley. The closest one to Eynsham is at Toolstation Oxford on the Botley Road on Tuesday 31 March. From 8am until lunchtime, tradespeople can drop in to receive a free tool marking kit and register with Selectamark.
There will be local policing teams in attendance and representatives from Selectamark to provide advice and security tips. There will also be various theft prevention items available to take away.
More information about these sessions and the details of other venues, dates and times are available here: Free tool marking sessions for tradespeople as part of ongoing campaign — Matthew Barber - Listening. Serving. Taking Action.
This is part of an ongoing campaign by the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner to help tradespeople secure their equipment and to reduce tool thefts across the region.
