Eynsham Parish Council - Meetings

The Full Council meets once each month (Tuesday 7.30pm at Eynsham Village Hall). Agendas are shared in advance (within the Calendar) and minutes from the meetings are shared afterwards - view these by clicking the Minutes tab on this webpage.

Some Councillors also sit on committees or working grooups.

Committees
The duties of the Council's committees are defined in each Terms of Reference, as are the number of members and frequency of meetings. Individuals who are not Councillors may be co-opted to provide expertise and guidance on these committees, but they do not always have voting rights.

Minutes from committee meetings are shared on their designated pages listed below. They are circulated to all Councillors ahead of the next Full Council meeting.

The Committees are as follows: 

• Open Spaces Committee (formerly Amenities & Estates)
• Finance Committee (formerly Finance & General Purposes Commitee)
• Planning Committee

Former Committees:

• Traffic Committee
• Senior Committee

These committees were absorbed into full council meetings from May 2025. 

Working Groups
Working groups are slightly less formal but are overseen by the council and governed by its policies, procedures and terms of references.

Members of the council, the community and experts come together to work on specific projects. Currently the council has three working groups:

• Art Trail Working Group - focusing on the delivery of an Art Trail for Eynsham

• Neighbourhood Plan Working Group - focusing on the delivery of a new Neighbhourhood Plan for Eynsham

• Sports Pavilion Working Group - focusing on the delivery of a new Sports Pavilion for Eynsham. 

External Bodies

Councillors also act as links and represent village interests on other bodies. As of May 2025, these are:
